Ash Brooke racing was created to document the journey from grassroots sim racing, to a real world motorsport competition - building a brand, engaging a community, and creating long-term goal of racing in real life, at a competitive level.

By day, I am a Civil Engineer. By night (and most weekends), I am immersed in motorsport.

Like many drivers, it started with a modest setup… A logitech wheel, a dusty old monitor and an office chair that rolled backwards every time I pressed the brake pedal too hard. Hundreds of hours later, that same passion has envolved into the pursuit of real life racing.

Throughout 2026, the focus is on building the ‘Ash Brooke Racing’ brand across various platforms, connecting with supporters and developing partnerships required to compete in the a QLD based racing championship in 2027.

Currently, I compete in regular sim racing events on Gran Turismo 7, and take to the track in my 2020 Hyundai i30N to improve my racecraft. I am looking to move to iRacing within the coming months, and building a car for the 2027 season.

This platform exists to share the journey… the progress, the setbacks, the events, the results, and everything in between - as I transition from amateur sim racer to part-time motorsport competitor.
